University of Cambridge Electronic Resources

The University of Cambridge subscribes to a vast range of electronic resources (ebooks, ejournals, databases, electronic search tools, etc). The Cambridge LibGuides provide a good way of finding out about what is available and relevant to your subject.  Many Departmental and Faculty library websites also provide useful lists of subject-specific sites.

Many of the books most heavily used by students are available in ebook format.  There are two ways to find ebooks:

Search by title and by subject via the ejournals LibGuide.

Dictionaries, encyclopedias, indexes, etc. can be accessed via the A-Z Databases LibGuide.

Within the cam domain there is no need for passwords to access e-resources. Off-site users will be prompted for their Raven password.

Don't forget that if you need help accessing eresources, Library staff are always happy to help on a one-to-one basis, or you could attend one of our research skills classes.
