The New Chapel at Queens’ stands in Walnut Tree Court and was built in 1891 to accommodate the growing number of students. One or two things have changed since then, but the Chapel remains a place in which to encounter God and one another. To this end we follow a pattern of prayer and worship which is greatly enriched by our Chapel Choir, and other choral groups.

The Queens’ College Environmental Policy outlines our commitment to act decisively on the climate emergency, by mitigating our contribution to the climate emergency and crisis in biodiversity. In practical terms, this means reducing the College’s carbon footprint and waste output and improving biodiversity on the College site.

Queens’ College has a dedicated and supportive team to help and support you during your time studying with us! Health and Wellbeing support in College is here to provide help and advice, covering a wide range of personal issues and general wellbeing.

Queens’ College Faith Centre, located in Cripps Court (FF8), is set aside for people of all faiths and none to share. It is a flexible, dry space (no alcohol is stored or consumed there at any time), with facilities for washing and making simple refreshments, and resources to assist prayer and meditation. The Centre is open to all current College members and staff.

Returning students and visitors may notice that the raised central area of Cripps Court looks a little different compared to back in June.
