The Queens' postgraduate community is one of the largest and most active in Cambridge, with over 500 students studying for a wide range of full-time and part-time qualifications. The majority are undertaking degrees such as the MPhil or the PhD, but Queens' also has many postgraduates studying for other degrees like the PGCE, the LLM and the MBA, as well as Clinical Medicine (MB, BChir).
Queens' College Funding for Postgraduate Students
Queens’ College offers financial support directed towards the educational and research activities of its postgraduate student community through a number of postgraduate studentships and grants.
We aim to offer rooms to all commencing, single postgraduate students who apply for College accommodation by 1 May each year. You can find more details of the accommodation typically available to postgraduate students and the allocation process here.
Armitage Room Postgraduate Study Centre
Our dedicated study centre for postgraduate students offers the opportunity to work outside the College library and also houses a leisure reading collection.
These informal interviews are your chance to put questions to global leaders in their field. They are hosted by Anna El-Erian, in collaboration with the MCR.
As a postgraduate student you are automatically a member of the MCR (Middle Combination Room). Alongside organising social events throughout the year, the MCR committee acts as a link between the College’s postgraduate community and the College and University authorities.
