Visits to Queens'

We now able to resume face to face visits, both at Queens' and into schools, however we continue to offer virtual talks and workshops as well. We are happy to speak to schools about their own individual needs and events, and if there is something that we can help with please do not hesitate to contact us via email at slo@queens.cam.ac.uk or slo-bradford@queens.cam.ac.uk

Queens’ College regularly hosts visits from schools and individual students free of charge, with the aim of raising aspirations and giving advice on applications.

Visiting a college can be a great way to get a taste of University life and debunk some of the myths surrounding Cambridge.

A school visit to Queens’ usually includes:

  • Tour of college by a current undergraduate, providing an opportunity to see the excellent facilities available and ask questions that students might not usually be able to ask

  • Presentation on applications and the admissions process and Q&A with our Schools Liaison Officer

  • Free lunch in Queens’ College dining hall

Depending on the year group and your requirements, we can provide more detailed sessions on Cambridge University or more general information about higher education and raising aspirations. Please also see our risk assessment for school groups visiting Queens'.

Please email us on the above email addresses to request a visit.

If you are a prospective applicant, you can visit Queens’ at any time and have a look around. If you visit during working hours, a member of the admissions team will be happy to chat with you and answer any questions you may have.
