Queens' swimmer smashing records

Matt Courtis (2017, MRes in Engineering) is combining his studies with breaking long-standing records for Cambridge University Men's Swimming squad.

He has just added the 200m individual medley record to the 400m one he broke last term. The 400m record was ten years old. Now his target is to beat the 100m IM record, too.

Matt was an undergraduate at Lincoln College, Oxford, and a Swimming Blue there. His Engineering specialism is Gas Turbine Aerodynamics. The Swimming Varsity match is later this term.

Dan Lafferty (2015, Maths) is in the University Water Polo team and has just been on a tour to Malta. He will also compete in the Varstiy Match next month.

Noah Milton and Dan Noel also play University Water Polo. The Queens' team is dominating college competitions, winning the Michaelmas tournament and is looking to retain the Cuppers title later this year.
