The College is delighted to announce the establishment of a Queens’ Entrepreneurship Society (QES) open to undergraduates, postgraduates, postdoctoral researchers and Fellows. The society nurtures budding entrepreneurial talent within the College and also helps individuals to commercialise their research.

QES is a multidisciplinary ecosystem open to everyone to leverage the potential of ventures that cross disciplines. QES fundamentally differs from other Cambridge entrepreneurship schemes by focusing on building successful ventures through a broad training program, tailored and in-depth mentoring, introductions to potential venture funders for advanced projects, and networking events to provide practical support for members of the Queens' community to successfully develop their innovative ideas. To accomplish this vision, QES builds on the college community and on the expertise of current and former members to drive practical innovation.  A “Develop | Incubate | Accelerate” model for individuals and ventures is envisioned.

Queens' Entrepreneurship Society is distinctive among entrepreneurship schemes in Cambridge in that it focuses on building successful ventures through:

  • A broad training program
  • Tailored and in-depth mentoring
  • Introductions to potential venture funders for advanced projects
  • Networking events to provide practical support

Queens' Entrepreneurship Society can be contacted via email at QESinfo@queens.cam.ac.uk.
