A number of our Senior Members have given interviews and written features within their areas of expertise on the coronavirus. Dr Christopher Smith, Fellow Commoner, has given this podcast with New Zealand broadcaster RNZ, answering listener's questions on Covid-19 from a scientific and realistic perspective.
The David N Moore Fellow in Mathematics, Professor Julia Gog, whose research specialises in mathematical modelling of influenza outbreaks, gave an interview last month at the Centre International de Rencontres Mathématiques, whilst our President-elect, Dr Mohamed El-Erian, has also used his Bloomberg opinion column to discuss the economic implications of the unfolding situation and make a plea for trasnsparency and communication.
