English student pens 'Best Original Play'

Current Queens' English student Charlotte Cromie (2015) has won this year's Kinsella 'Other' Prize for Best Original Play, administered by the Marlowe Society, for her composition I don't cry much in public so it's alright. This year's prize was judged by Dom O'Hanlon, commissioning editor for plays at Methuen Drama/Bloomsbury Academic. Charlotte will attend the awards ceremony on 18 June, to receive her prize from the Master of Churchill College.

Charlotte has won numerous awards for her plays over the past two years, and has seen her work performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, with support from the College.
