1999 20th Reunion Dinner

We were delighted to welcome back to College our alumni who matriculated in 1999 for their 20th Anniversary Reunion Dinner last Saturday.

The evening began with drinks in the Old Hall, followed by dinner in Cripps Hall. Speeches were given by Professor Richard Weber, Vice-President, Alex Warner, JCR President of the 1999 year group, and Mr Rowan Kitt, Fellow & Development Director.

It was very moving to be back in Queens' (almost) twenty years after I first arrived. A lot of time has passed since then and, in all honesty, I feel happier and more settled now than I did in 1999, but I know that that happiness and stability itself has a lot to do with the care, friendships, experiences and education I received at the College.

I was delighted to learn how much the College has done to expand Welfare and Access. As someone who now works in higher education, in a very different institution to Queens', I know how important this is and look forward to hearing more about it in future."
