FAQs

Q: What is the date and time of this event?
A: The event will be held on Sunday 25th June 2023 between 2.30pm - 5.00pm.

Q: Where will the event be held?
A: The event will be held in the Fellows’ Garden.

Q: What is the cost of tickets?
A: Ticket prices: £20 per adult (aged 18+); £10 for children (11-18 years); free for children 10 and under.

Q: How many tickets can I purchase?
A: There is a maximum booking of two adult tickets and up to three child/infant tickets per member. Places are limited and these will therefore be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Q: How do I register for this event?
A: Registration and payment will open via a booking form in this webpage.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Refunds on cancellations are only available up to five working days before the event.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: The Garden Party is a casual event. Although some seating will be provided, we encourage you to bring along rugs and blankets etc. The gardens have limited shade, so please be aware of this if it is a hot day. In case of bad weather, alternative locations will be arranged, and we would encourage you to wear bring weather-appropriate attire.

Q: Will parking be available?
A: Due to limited space and environmental concerns, there will be no parking available in College unless you are a blue-badge holder or have very limited mobility. For those who have requested parking for the aforementioned reasons, this will be arranged for you.

We have reserved limited parking at the College Sports Ground on Barton Road, CB3 9LL which is a walk of approximately 20-25 minutes, available on a first come, first served basis.

We also recommend using the Park & Ride services in Cambridge (see the following map https://cambridgeparkandride.info/).

Q: Can I bring my dog to the Garden Party?
A: Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in College.

Q: Can I book a punt?
A: College punts can be booked via the Porters' Lodge. Contact: porters@queens.cam.ac.uk or phone 01223 335511.

Q: Where can I leave my luggage?
A: If you wish to store any luggage, a room in College will be open during the day. Please note that this room will not be locked so valuables are left at your own risk.

Q: Will accommodation be available in College?
A: Accommodation is not available in College. Please find below a list of suggested hotels:
