My role is to be the first point of contact in the maintenance department, and to help college staff, college members, and guests with any maintenance issue large or small. I manage repair requests and ensure that repairs are carried out within agreed timescales, and allocate job requests to the appropriate maintenance operatives. I also organise work schedules for contractors and prioritise the timeline in accordance with college bookings . I also maintain the maintenance ticket request database.
