Please read and adhere to the following guidance before coming to collect your belongings:
- All arrangements to collect belongings must be booked in advance with Housekeeping
- If you or a member of your household have any symptoms of COVID-19 then you must not travel to collect your belongings. Please follow PHE guidance on self-isolation and notify Housekeeping of your cancellation.
- Check that you have read and understand the current measures on social distancing
- Follow the current PHE advice on safe travelling in the UK during COVID
- Students must report to the Porter's Lodge on arrival in Cambridge and comply with any temporary Social Distancing signing and barriers around the College.
- Students who took their key/s with them when they left, should still report to the Porter's Lodge to inform them that they have arrived.
- Students should collect all their post / mail and ask that the Porter to check the parcel system for them so there are no outstanding parcels awaiting their collection.
- Students must return all College Library books that they no longer need. There will be book collection boxes in the Porters Lodge lobby for students to drop them off - these will then be handed over to library staff for return. They will also be happy to forward, to their respective libraries, books due for return from Departmental/Faculty libraries and the University Library.
- Students leaving their cycles in the College cycle-park for the summer should ensure their cycle is registered with the College so that it is not removed during the summer recycling scheme.
- Anyone who has not registered their cycle should do so before they return home
- Students leaving for the final time and wish to donate their cycle - Please let the duty Porter know, as they will ensure it is recycled and the cycle register is updated.
- Students leaving Cambridge permanently should drop of their University Card when returning their room key/s.
- Before leaving, and only once your room is clear of all your belongings please ensure you return the room key/s to the Porter’s Lodge.
- To return keys / cards students must drop them off via the Porter's Lodge collection box. This will allow students to social distance and speed up departure. The duty Porter will collect all the items dropped off and ensure they are signed in.
