Rowan Kitt, BA Hons (Dunelm), PGCE (Christ’s, Cambridge), MA (London), MA (Cantab)

Fellow & Development Director

I’ve been at Queens’ for 12 years, managing our 14,000 alumni and friends globally and finding the funding to support the incredible College community. Our current priorities are to fund the Governing Body’s strategy of decarbonising our buildings and adding disabled access where possible. We also seek funding for Fellowships, scholarships and bursaries and unrestricted funding. The Development Office also works with current students and parents, providing business contacts for the former and a chance to see the College from the inside for the latter. Alumni are members of the College for life and are welcome at any time of year – you do not need a card or appointment to enter the College. Please come and visit us in the Development Office for refreshment.

Personal interests

I was a chorister at Worcester Cathedral and taught History at several schools before getting involved in development work. I’m involved in rugby union and was a match official for the Rugby World Cup in Japan in 2019.
