This page contains information on all the administration support available at Queens’ College to current students, including information on fees and finances, student funds and awards and application forms for letters and academic requests.

The Tutorial Office

The Tutorial Department is responsible for all aspects of teaching and welfare within College relating to undergraduates, graduates, exchange students and affiliated students.

The Department deals with all tutorial and admissions enquiries and provides administrative support in these areas to all students, as well as to supervisors, Directors of Studies and tutors. It creates and maintains student records and deals with matriculation, examinations, applications for student financial support and graduation.

The Senior Tutor is responsible for all teaching and learning activities and for the tutorial function of the College.

Location

Tutorial Office Reception is in Essex 4. This is located on the old side of College: cross over the Mathematical Bridge, turn right and walk out into the courtyard towards Old Kitchens. The glass panelled door in the corner is the entrance to the Essex building, and the Tutorial Office is upstairs.

Opening times

Students are always welcome to drop in for information, help and assistance in any area of College life. As staff may be working from home, please e-mail tutorial.office@queens.cam.ac.uk.

Tutorial and Admissions enquiries: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm

Forms and applications

Students can apply for subject changes, letters confirming student status and replacement University cards online, to avoid lengthy visits to the Tutorial office. There are also applications available online for student funding and awards. These can all be accessed on our student administration pages.
