122 members of the 1996 and 1997 cohorts returned to Queens’ in March for their Anniversary Reunion Dinner. The event was so well attended that the dinner had to be moved to our largest venue, Cripps Hall!
We were delighted to welcome so many familiar faces back to College. The joy of catching up with old friends was evident throughout the evening.

In March, Queens’ President Dame Menna Rawlings hosted her first Queens’ Conversations event in celebration of International Women’s Day, exploring the theme of Impactful Women.
Dame Menna welcomed an esteemed panel of guests: Hannah Fry (Professorial Fellow), Joanna Scanlan (1980), Angela Chan (1992), Corin Robertson CMG (1990) and Helen MacNamara CB (Clare College) to join her on stage to discuss some of the world’s biggest issues concerning women and inclusivity.

It was a fantastic occasion to meet our new President and reconnect with global alumni.

The annual Commemoration & Ceremony of Benefactors and The Benefactors’ Feast took place in April 2026. This memorable occasion brought together benefactors, Fellows, students, and guests to celebrate the generosity of donors that continues to sustain the life of the College.
The event began in the Chapel with the traditional Ceremony of Benefactors, where donors are thanked individually by the President, a practice rooted in the College’s earliest history. Afterwards, guests enjoyed drinks in the President’s Garden followed by a feast in the Old Hall.

Queens’ renowned amateur dramatics society, Bats, held its Inaugural Alumni Dinner in May. 17 alumni and 13 students came together to enjoy performances of Love’s Labour’s Lost by William Shakespeare and [BLANK] by Alice Birch, a production by the Bats Company, followed by a drinks reception and dinner in the Old Hall.
It was a brilliant opportunity to showcase the performances that students are creating today and gain valuable insights from former Bats members.

We were thrilled to welcome back History and Computer Science alumni to Queens’ for Reunion Dinners in March and May.
