Alumni Boat Crew to race at the Head of Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts.
22nd September 2026

We are delighted to announce that a crew of Queens’ College Boat Club alumni has successfully secured a coveted place at the 2026 Head of the Charles Regatta.
They will travel to Boston, Massachusetts, to represent QCBC on one of rowing’s most famous stages when the regatta takes place from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October 2026.

The Head of the Charles is the world’s largest three-day rowing event, bringing together thousands of competitors and spectators from around the world. Racing along the Charles River through Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts, the course is renowned for its challenging bends, bridges and lively crowds. Securing an entry is therefore a great achievement and an exciting opportunity for QCBC alumni to compete together once again while representing the club internationally.
The crew is looking forward to reconnecting with the wider Queens’ and QCBC community during its time in Boston. We warmly invite alumni living in Boston, elsewhere in New England, or travelling to the regatta to come along, support the crew from the riverbank and join us for drinks.
