Alumni Garden Party

Alumni were warmly invited back to Queens’ with their family and friends for the annual Garden Party on Sunday 28th June.

It was a pleasure to see alumni catching up with old friends alongside their families. The sun shone for us and it was the perfect summer’s day to enjoy the beautiful gardens.

We were delighted that almost 400 guests joined us for the occasion including the Shaw family who have seen 3 generations attend Queens’!

Guests were treated to madrigals sung by the choir, delicious food and drinks served by our catering team and an ice cream truck!

Children enjoyed a bouncy castle, face painting and games on Erasmus Lawn.

Speeches by Queens’ President Dame Menna Rawlings and Development Director Rowan Kitt rounded off a memorable day.

The Garden Party also offered a wonderful opportunity to thanks members of The 1448 Society and The Sundial Circle with a private event in the President’s Garden.

The 1448 Society is formed of regular givers to the College and The Sundial Circle is dedicated to alumni who choose to remember Queens’ in their Will. Read more about these societies here.

Development Director Rowan Kitt delivered a highlights session about our current campaign Bridge to the Future.
