Alumni Garden Party and Family Day

We are delighted to welcome alumni back to Queens’ on the 28th of June this year for the annual Alumni Garden Party and Family Day!

Event Details

Time and Date
The event will be held on Sunday 28th June 2026 between 2.30pm – 5.00pm.

Location
The event will be held in the Fellows’ Garden (Erasmus Lawn).

Ticket costs
£20 per adult (aged 18+); £10 for children (11-18 years); free for children 10 and under.

Ticket quantity
There is a maximum booking of two adult tickets and up to three child/infant tickets per member. Places are limited and these will therefore be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Should you like to purchase more than the allocated number of tickets for each member, please contact our team.

If a particular ticket type appears as ‘sold out’ on the webform, please contact our office at alumnievents@queens.cam.ac.uk or 01223331944 and we will verify whether we are able to release additional tickets.

Cancellation policy
Refunds on cancellations are only available up to five working days before the event i.e. before Monday the 23rd of June.

Dress code
The Garden Party is a smart/casual event. The gardens have limited shade, so please be aware of this if it is a hot day. In case of bad weather, alternative locations will be arranged, and we would encourage you to wear bring weather-appropriate attire.

Parking availability
Due to limited space and environmental concerns, there will be no parking available in College unless you are a blue-badge holder or have very limited mobility. For those who have requested parking for the aforementioned reasons, this will be arranged for you.

We recommend using the Park & Ride services in Cambridge (see the following map https://cambridgeparkandride.info/).

Bringing dogs to the Garden Party
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted in College.

Booking a Punt
College punts can be booked via the Porters’ Lodge. Contact: porters@queens.cam.ac.uk or phone 01223 335511.

Luggage storage
There will be a designated room to store luggage in College. Please note that valuables are stored at your own risk.

Accommodation
Accommodation is not available in College. Please find below a list of suggested hotels:

All data is securely held in the College’s Alumni and Development Office and will be treated confidentially and with sensitivity for the benefit of Queens’ College and its Members. Selected data is available to the University, and occasionally to Alumni volunteers and agents contracted by the College for specific Alumni-related projects. Data is used for a full range of Alumni activities, including the sending of College publications, the promotion of benefits and services to Members, the notification of Members’ events and the raising of funds for Queens’.
