Queens’ track superstar, Caroline Hilley (2015), won three individual events in yesterday’s Varsity Athletics Match at Wilberforce Road.
She cruised to victory in the 100m Hurdles, the 400m (flat) and won the 400m Hurdles in a record Varsity time. The previous record had stood for fourteen years.
Caroline, who hails from Dunblane in Scotland and is reading Natural Sciences, also represented the combined Oxford and Cambridge universities team in the traditional matches against Harvard/Yale and Penn/Cornell. She won both her 400m Hurdles races in those matches.
