Dr Andy Cosh celebration dinner

We were delighted to welcome back Dr Andy Cosh's former students, spanning the past 40 years, to a dinner on Saturday night in Old Hall.

Andy thanked the assembled alumni for giving him the opportunity to teach them, describing them as enthusiastic, bright and committed. They then gave Andy a standing ovation.

In Andy’s honour, alumni and friends of the College successfully raised enough funds to endow an Economics Fellowship. Andy directed that this should be named The Ajit Singh Fellowship in Economics, in memory of his own great mentor and teacher at Queens’, the late Professor Ajit Singh. Andy thanked everyone who has contributed to this very successful fundraising project which underpins the wonderful supervision system, the hallmark of a Cambridge education.

Dr Cosh now becomes a Life Fellow; we very much hope to continue to see him around College.
