As the College Chaplain I am responsible for the life of the Chapel and Choir here at Queens’. I trained for the priesthood at Westcott House and was a parish priest in Bedfordshire before returning to Cambridge. Alongside my work at Queens’ I am also an honorary assistant priest at Little St Mary’s, the Church of England Young Vocations Champion in the University, and the Honorary Chaplain to the Cambridge University Officers’ Training Corps. I’m an enthusiastic squash player and am always looking for challengers. I'm is always happy to meet to listen and discuss anything with any member of College (regardless of religious affiliation). Part of my role is enabling, encouraging, and supporting all Queens’ students to allow them to practice their faith. I can direct or accompany you as needed, advise on college dietary requirements, and address any concerns you may have. Research
I wrote my master's dissertation on wit and wordplay in the early modern sermon. I’m interested in 16th and 17th century ecclesiastical history and literature.
