Richard Nickl, MA, MSc, PhD. (Vienna), Professor of Mathematical Statistics, College Lecturer in Mathematics.
I am mostly involved in teaching Analysis, Probability and Statistics subjects in the Mathematical Tripos.
I am a mathematician working at the intersection of probability theory and analysis, specialising in problems arising in mathematical statistics. My main focus is the rigorous theoretical study of high- and infinite-dimensional statistical models and random structures that are commonly encountered in modern data science. I play for the Queens’ graduate (MCR) football team, typically as a winger or striker.
