The College wishes to recruit a part-time Welfare Adviser to join our Student Support Service team, commencing as soon as possible. The successful candidate will be highly experienced in student welfare support and counselling and able to provide specialist advice and support to university students of all ages and nationalities.
An appropriate professional qualification and proven track record of working successfully in a welfare support/counselling role is essential. Queens’ College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and wellbeing of all its students. The successful candidate will share this commitment.
Flexibility is fundamental as overtime may be required during busy periods, and the successful candidate will be expected to cover holiday leave and other absences for other members of the team.
Hours of work are 30 per week (actual days worked to be negotiated).
Salary will be in the region of £36,126 to £40,639 p.a. (pro-rata), depending on skills and experience.
The role will require the usual DBS checks.
