Upcoming Arts and Bats events

There are a number of exciting events coming up at Queens', including Bats productions of Stoppard and Shakespeare and the opening of the Queens' Arts Festival 2020 exhibition.

Bats: Stoppard & Previn Every Good Boy Deserves Favour

This rarely performed one-act play by playwright Tom Stoppard and composer André Previn interweaves six actors and a chamber orchestra to create a strange and compelling world of authority, artistry and madness.

Thursday 13th February at 8pm
Friday 14th February at 8pm
Saturday 15th February at 1pm
In the Fitzpatrick Hall
Tickets £10/5 and can be purchased through adc ticketing.

Queens' Arts Festival

The exhibition for this years QAF, which has a theme of MORE FUTURE! It will explore the intersection of art and activism in Cambridge, acknowledging the role that art has played in activist history in Cambridge and use this as a springboard for thinking about what art can do for us now.

Exhibition Opening Night: Sunday 23rd February 2020, 8pm to 11pm

The exhibition will remain open in the West Gallery (next to the Fitzpatrick Hall, on the first floor) from Monday 24th February to Wednesday 18th March, Mondays-Fridays only, 10am to 3pm.

Other events in the festival include:

  • Radical tote making, Saturday 22nd February, 8pm
  • QAF x Hip Hop Soc: Spoken solidarity, Monday 24th February, 9pm
  • QAF x Dragtime: Dissent, Wednesday 26th February, 9pm (tickets £5)

Unless otherwise specified, admission is free. All events will be held in the Fitzpatrick Hall.
