The virtual Queens' Roadshow
The Queens’ Roadshow is an admissions office tradition, and one of the most powerful events we deliver in the year.
This year, three teams of three Queens’ students will deliver 38 sessions in 37 schools in our link areas of Havering, Medway, Kent and Bradford. It will all be online, as students are unable to visit the schools in person.
Roadshow sees students delivering their personal experience of being a Queens’ and a Cambridge student, busting myths and answering questions about what they did to get their place and what life is really like once you arrive.
A teacher from a school we have 'visited' this week said:
"[The Roadshow team] were eloquent, passionate about their studies and real assets to their institution. [They] made a successful application seem possible, which is a really important psychological barrier to be overcome. We are very grateful for their time. Thank you!"
