Alumni Garden Party, The Arthur Armitage & 1448 Society parties

Over 250 people attended The Alumni Garden Party, including The Arthur Armitage Society & 1448 Society Garden Party.

It was wonderful to see so many alumni and their guests back at Queens’ and enjoying the beautiful weather. Afternoon Tea and Pimm’s were served in The President's Garden for members of The Arthur Armitage Society & 1448 Society Garden Party. Mr Rowan Kitt (Development Director & Fellow) and Rebecca Hartwell (PhD student and Lightweight Blue Boat Rower) gave speeches to thank alumni and friends of the College, inform them about recent fundraising achievements and how donations have helped Queens' this year.

The Alumni Garden Party, which took place in The Fellows' Garden, was equally well attended by alumni with their families and friends.

Throughout the afternoon, Garden Party guests were treated to a variety of music performances from student members of MagSoc and Queens' College Chapel Choir. Recitals and concerts took place in The Long Gallery of The President's Lodge, Old Hall and in Chapel and added a splendid accompaniment to the day.

The photos from the events can be found here.

Thank you to all who attended. For those who could not, we hope to see you next year! Next year's garden parties are due to be held on Sunday 25th June 2019.
