Statement on the pensions dispute by the Governing Body of Queens' College

Queens’ College has not taken part in UUK surveys on risk appetite. The Governing Body has considered the damaging consequences of the current pension scheme crisis and dispute for students and staff. The Governing Body endorses the position taken by the Vice Chancellor in calling for "a pragmatic solution to bring to an end the current dispute [in order to] focus on a long-term, sustainable solution which is in the best interests of the sector, the University and individual members of USS”.
