This month marks 100 years since the passing of the Representation of the People Act, which allowed (some) British and Irish women to vote for the first time. In celebration, a new temporary exhibition in the War Memorial Library examines the history of women’s education in Cambridge. You can find the exhibition, “Power over themselves: women’s education in Cambridge”, in the display case on the ground floor of the War Memorial Library.
