Sir Robert Chote knighted in New Year Honours
Sir Robert Chote (Hon Fellow) read Economics at Queens' from 1986 - 1989. While at Cambridge, he was Chair of the University Social Democrats, later the Social & Liberal Democrats.
In 2015 he returned to Queens' to be made an Honorary Fellow, in recognition of excellence in his field. Since 2010 he has been Chair of the Office of Budget Responsibility.
Sir Robert has received a Knights Bachelor in the New Year Honours this year for services to fiscal policy and to the economy.
