Sigmund Sternberg LLM Studentship at Queens'

A generous gift to the College from the Sir Sigmund Sternberg Charitable Foundation will fund an annual studentship for an LLM student for the next three years.

The Master of Laws degree is a popular postgraduate course at Queens' and, this year, there are six LLM students.

The College is very grateful to the trustees of the Sir Sigmund Sternberg Charitable Foundation for this funding which will help the College to attract and best and brightest students from around the world, irrespective of background or financial means. Professor Richard Fentiman, Chair of the Law Faculty and Derek Bowett Fellow in Law at Queens', said 'this generous gift will do much attract the ablest graduate lawyers to Queens' and maintain our reputation as a College of choice for the best LLM students from around the world.'

The Studentship will mirror the Redress Solutions LLM Studentship which has already been established at the College. This was awarded for the first time at the inaugural Queens' Distinguished Lecture in Law in October 2015.
