Queens' Economics student, Elliott Stockdale, was the Varsity-winning President of the Cambridge University Rugby League side at Grange Road last night.
The win over Oxford is the first since 2009.
Elliot was the captain of the England Community Lions U-19 team that was undefeated in the Home Nations tournament in 2019.
Elliott, from Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, won a Hawks’ Club Charitable Trust Award in 2019 for ‘Outstanding achievement and contribution to University and International sport’. He is a founding member of Queens' Investment & Banking Society.
