We were delighted to learn that Queens' first year, Patrick Bevan, studying Maths, has been selected as the Leader of the National Youth Orchestra (NYO) of Great Britain for 2018.
Patrick has been part of the National Youth Orchestra for a number of years, "This will be my fifth and final year as a member of NYO. I’m really excited to be leading the orchestra in our 70th anniversary year."
The year will open with a concert tour with conductor Sir Mark Elder, performing concerts in Manchester, Nottingham and at the Barbican in London in January.
