Professor Beverley Glover comments on ground-breaking ancestral flower model

Scientists have recently modelled the bloom of the last common ancestor of all living flowers; something that even baffled Darwin who described the evolution of flowers as “an abominable mystery”.

Professor Beverley Glover, Director of the University Botanical Gardens and Queens' Fellow, has commented that the research is extremely exciting and elaborates on what this may mean for plant sciences.
