There is now a much safer route to the Queens' playing fields at Barton Road for cyclists, which all students and others should use.
A path has been marked out in blue on the grass across the King's playing fields to Queens' pavilion.
Access to the path is via Grantchester Rd, then right into Fulbrooke Rd - down to the end and turn right. No one should exit the playing fields onto Barton Road on a bike - they should go back along the King's fields.
