It was a disappointing day for the Cambridge team overall, losing to Oxford in all four categories: Men's, Women's, Men's Seconds and Women's Seconds. Nevertheless, many congratulations to Izzy Dye, third year Natural Sciences student who won the Blues 1500m and Fiona Bunn, second year Natural Sciences student who came second in the 2000m Steeplechase. Third year Computer Science student Jack Wickham and third year Linguistics student Alex Burchill both came third in their respective competitions, 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles, both in the Blues competition.

Queens' was also well-represented on the women's second team, called the Alligators. Charlotte Spruzen, hammer, and Laura Foster, discus, are both already Blues for their participation in successful Varsity competitions in Rugby and Rowing respectively, and Hannah Badger, 100m hurdles, a first-year geographer.

Alex, Fiona and Hannah are pictured right, second from left, second from right and right, along with fellow Queens' undergraduate Toby Speirs.
