Wedding

WEDDINGS:

  • Can we throw confetti? Confetti is not permitted but rose petals may be thrown on the bridge only.
  • Where can we take photographs? Everywhere in College except for in Cloister Court. Permission for this must be sought from the President’s Lodge
  • How much is the room hire fee? It is included within the wedding package price.
  • What happens if it rains? If you have planned an outside wedding reception, we will ALWAYS have a wet-weather option! If around the time of the Wedding the weather has been particularly inclement and the lawns are in a delicate state, walking on the grass will be prohibited.
  • Do you offer accommodation? Yes, and a bedroom can be hired on the day as a 'changing room'.
  • Can we have a bar in the Old Hall or Old Kitchens? Yes, we can provide a mobile cash bar.
  • How is the payment for the event set-up? There will be two payments; the deposit invoice and final invoice after the event. The deposit invoice is sent once the provisional booking contract has been signed and the event confirmed with us. The final invoice sent shortly after the event has taken place.
  • What are the usual arrangements for children and babies? Children and babies welcome! Yes, Children are welcome to attend events with complete supervision by the parent or guardian at all times. We do have a limited number of highchairs we can offer for the events as required.
  • Who arranges the florist? We use a brilliant Florist, who can supply some flowers, but you are welcome to arrange for your own external supplier. Your Event Manager will liaise with the supplier to arrange logistics.
