Graham Michael Treece, MA, PhD. Bye-Fellow (Engineering); College Lecturer and Reader in Engineering.
My interests are in medical imaging and computer graphics, with a particular emphasis on applying engineering techniques to solve clinical problems. I work mainly in algorithmic and system design, for instance 3D acquisition and visualisation of ultrasound data, use of ultrasound data to visualise stiffness, measurement and visualisation of cortical thickness for assessment of fracture risk, and visualisation of cosmetic effects of radiotherapy.
I chair the bioengineering teaching at the department of engineering.
I am a founding member of the Engineering for Clinical Practice initiative between the Engineering Department and the Clinical School. I am also a member of the Steering Committee for the Cambridge Cancer Centre Strategic Initiative.
