The Education course allows you to investigate difficult questions about what it means to be educated and what being human is for. The course explores these essential questions across a variety of social, cultural, and historical contexts. The course is flexible, with students learning across disciplinary perspectives including Sociology and Psychology, Philosophy and History, Linguistics and Classics, and Arts, English, and Drama.

Education students at Queens’ become part of a tight-knit group supported by the Education Subject Fund. Students generally have one supervision hour per week, based on an essay, and hone their academic skills through workshops tailored to their needs and interests.
Studying Education at Queens’ is intellectually stimulating – I can always get enough academic support from Tyler, my Director of Studies (including planning of each term, supervisions, and writing seminars); besides, the close-knit Education community at Queens’ provides an exciting opportunity for me to get to know other like-minded undergrads, grads, and PhDs in the field of education.
