Ajit Singh Janeway Institute Scholarship in Economics

 

Queens' College and The Janeway Institute are pleased to offer a 3-year doctoral scholarship, which can be extended to a 4th year. The scholarship is £6,000 per year, which will be reduced to £3,000 per year if the successful candidate is already fully funded from other sources. The scholarship is open to applicants for the PhD in Economics. In order to be considered for the scholarship, the candidate has to indicate Queens' College as their first choice college in their application to the University's Postgraduate Admissions Office (PAO).  All candidates who have been successfully admitted to the PhD programme and who put Queens' as the first choice college will be considered. The successful candidate may be required to supervise undergraduate students at Queens' for up to 40 hours per year. The supervisions will be paid separately.

The Ajit Singh Janeway Institute Scholarship in Economics will be available in 2026/27.
