Tutorial Department

The Tutorial Department at Queens’

Tutorial Office Reception - Essex 5

The Tutorial Department is responsible for the administration of all aspects of the academic, teaching, registrary, and welfare functions of the College relating to undergraduates, graduates, exchange students and affiliated students.

The Department provides information and advice directly to students and liaises with the University administration and external bodies on their behalf.  In addition, the Department deals with all undergraduate and graduate admissions matters, including the recruitment of students through Open Days, the Queens’ Roadshow, and other access initiatives taken by the College.

The Department deals with all tutorial and admissions enquiries and provides administrative support in these areas to undergraduates and graduates, as well as to supervisors, Directors of Studies and Tutors.  It creates and maintains student records and deals with matriculation, examinations, applications for student financial support and graduation.

The Tutorial Department is a busy place - we have around 800 students - but students are always welcome to drop in for information, help and assistance in any area of College life.  The Tutorial Reception is open from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm every weekday to deal with tutorial and graduate enquiries.  Undergraduate admissions enquiries are available Mon-Fri 9.30 am to 4.00 pm.  All staff can also be contacted by telephone or email.
