The Boathouse The Boathouse
Our boathouse is the most moden college boathouse on the river. It was built in 1986-7 by Johnson & Bailey to the design of Cambridge Design. It includes a training room, a coaching room and two changing rooms.
Above the boathouse are six one-bedroom flats, five of which are used for accommodation of married graduate students of Queens'.
The new boathouse and its new facilities have contributed greatly to the revival of the fortunes of our Boat Club.
The boathouse site can be approached either from Trafalgar Road (off Chesterton Road) or by a private road from Victoria Avenue, behind the Lady Margaret Boathouse.
