                         This year we are going to Val d'Isere with On the Piste

The Resort

Probably the most famous of all French ski resorts, and the traditional home of Queens' skiing,  Val d'Isere is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders alike. Its part of Espace Killy, the huge skiing domain that it shares with purpose-built Tignes. With over 300km of pistes, including a downhill run built for the 1992 Olympics you're never going to get bored! For the more adventurous, there are some of the best lift-served off piste runs in the world. The trip price includes the full Espace Killy lift pass, giving you access to everything on offer.

Travel

Transport is via luxury coaches; all have TV, Video and toilet facilities.  We leave on the evening of the 6^th from Cambridge, London and Dover and arrive at resort around midday the following day.

Accommodation

Our accommodation is 3* self catering apartments with 4 to 6 people per apartment.  There is a £50 damage deposit included which will be refunded after returning to the UK.

Insurance

Included as part of the package price we provide comprehensive winter sports insurance covering both on and off-piste skiing. All group members are issued with a 24hr medical emergency contact card.

Equipment

Skis and snowboards can be rented and will be fitted to your requirements and selected standard.  We recommend beginners go for the cheaper options. Prices are shown below. You will need to bring your own clothing including jackets, sallopettes and goggles / sunglasses.  A full list of kit will is available here and we will have discounts at local Cambridge stores.

Nightlife

Val d'Isere is home to some of the best night-life anywhere in the alps. There is a huge choice of bars, restaurants and clubs. With our exclusive promotions giving discounts at many of the major venues the nights are bound to even wilder than the days. Bar crawls, themed nights and a torch-lit ski down dinner, to name but a few.
