Thinking about travel for your academic study?

Do you have a conference you would like to attend this year or perhaps academic travel plans which will enhance your coursework or dissertation?

We have a wide selection of travel grants available for both undergraduates and postgraduates. Travel grants include: 

Chemistry students: John Collins Bursary -  Available to PhD students in the field of Chemistry to attend academic conferences.

Arch&Anth: The Usha S Mehta Travel Award -  Available to any undergraduate student of Queens' wishing to travel abroad for academic advancement, with preference given (but not limited to) to a student who is (1) domiciled in India, and (2) studying Archaeology and Anthropology.  Three awards of up to £350 each are available for the 2016/17 academic year.

Developing Economy: The Professor Ajit Singh Travel Award:  Available to current undergraduate and graduate students of Queens' wishing to travel to any country with a developing economy (as defined by the World Bank or IMF) to undertake research that will contribute to our understanding of economic and social development.  This is broadly, but not exclusively, defined as economics, sociology, natural sciences and medicine.  Two awards may be made, at the discretion of the Senior Tutor, up to a value of £774 for the 2016/17 academic year.
