Queens' in Australia & New Zealand

Alumni met recently in Sydney, Brisbane and Dunedin as part of the Queens' Global Network series of events.

Twenty Sydney-based alumni met with Mr Rowan Kitt (Fellow & Development Director) in the Intercontinental Hotel for drinks on August 20th, with matriculation years ranging from 1969 to 2016. In Dunedin on 26 August, David Gwynne-Jones (1981) was the duty orthopaedic surgeon for the thrilling Bledisloe Cup rugby match between New Zealand and Australia at which Rowan Kitt was the Television Match Official. Rowan met with several Dunedin-based alumni for coffee and also met with The Hon Sam Lotu-Iiga (1998) who is stepping down as an MP at the forthcoming General Election in New Zealand.

Meanwhile, on 2nd Septmeber, Dr Murray Milgate hosted a very successful lunch in Brisbane for alumni, and two former Fellows, based in Queensland, Australia.
