Prestigious awards for two Queens’ Fellows

Congratulations to both Professor Rod Jones and Professor Martin Dixon for their recent awards:

Professor Rod Jones has been honoured with the 2016 Royal Society of Chemistry John Jeyes Award - a prestigious award for chemistry in relation to the environment - awarded to Professor Jones for his significant contributions to our understanding of the processes which govern the structure and composition of the atmosphere. In the past five years, he has pioneered the development of low cost air quality sensors and sensor networks for studying urban air quality and its impact on human health, work which is revolutionising the approach to air quality monitoring and the study of the health impacts of airborne pollution.
