All alumni of the Chapel Choir and former organ scholars are invited to join the current choir in singing a special Evensong service on Sunday 12th March. Music includes Stanford's Queens' Service and Finzi's 'Lo, the full, final sacrifice', with former and current members singing as one choir.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
3:50pm - assemble in Chapel (suits and gowns)
4:00pm - rehearsal, led by Ralph Allwood (Fellow Commoner)
5:15-5:45pm - sandwiches, tea and coffee in the Long Gallery
6:00pm - Choral Evensong (Preacher: The Chaplain)
Families of alumni are welcome to observe the rehearsal, join for the refreshments and attend the service. Former organ scholars are welcome to sing, or to follow the service from the organ loft.
To take part, please email Andrei Smid, Choir Administrator (ais35@cam.ac.uk), providing your name, email address, the years you sang in the choir, your voice part and how many people you would be bringing (so that sufficient refreshments can be prepared).
