Dr Or Rosenboim jointly awarded the 2014 Raymond Aron Prize

Congratulations to Dr Or Rosenboim, Queens' Junior Research Fellow in Politics. She is the joint recipient of the 2014 Raymond Aron Prize, awarded by the Société des amis de Raymond Aron, l'Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris. She was awarded the prize for her POLIS doctoral dissertation, "The Emergence of Globalism: Visions of World Order in Britain and the United States, 1939-1950." 

Raymond Aron (1905-1983) was a philosopher and political scientist. The Society of Friends of Raymond Aron established the prize in 1997.

Dr Rosenboim's research interests include the history of international thought in the twentieth century, exploring a variety of relevant topics from geopolitics to cosmopolitanism, from federalism to democracy theory. You can read more about Dr Rosenboim's research and publications on her website
