Another successful Academic Saturday

On Saturday more than 130 people attended our annual Academic Saturday which comprised a full day of lectures on a variety of topics from Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Afghanistan, Law, Poetry, to Engineering.

Amongst the speakers, Mr Karim Khalil QC (1980) gave an enthralling lecture on The Science of Soham and a Life of Crime, Google-superstar Demis Hassabis (1994) gave a lecture on Artificial Intelligence to a captive audience and Professor Clare Bryant sustained a solid 20 minutes of questions after her lecture on Why cats make you sneeze. We are most thankful to the 10 speakers who shared their expertise with us.
