Alumni Family Day and The Arthur Armitage Society & 1448 Society Garden Party

200 people attended Alumni Family Day and The Arthur Armitage Society & 1448 Society Garden Party, which took place on Sunday 25 June.

Despite the looming threat of rain, the weather held and the day was a great success. The President's garden was full of alumni for the Arthur Armitage Society & 1448 Society Garden Party, enjoying afternoon tea and Pimm's in the garden. Marisa Crimlis-Brown (Head of Communications & Regular Giving) and The President gave speeches to thank alumni and inform them about the College's recent fundraising achievements and how donations have helped Queens' this year.

The Alumni Family Day, which took place in The Fellows' Garden, was full of life, boasting alumni of all ages. There was an assortment of garden games and activities for little ones, including a bouncy castle and face painting. The ice cream van proved very popular amongst guests, old and young

For added entertainment, a variety of music was performed throughout the College. The music was performed by The St Margaret's Society of Queens', The Queens' College Chapel Choir and The Graduate Choir. Recitals and performances took place in The President's Lodge Long Gallery and in The Chapel and added a splendid accompaniment to the day.

The photos from the events can be found here.

It was wonderful to see all who attended. For those who could not, we hope to see you next year! Next year's garden parties will be held on Sunday 24th June 2018.
