Murray Milgate's, "After Adam Smith", (Princeton University Press) has been awarded the 2011 Spitz Prize for the best book in liberal and/or democratic theory.
The prize is awarded annually by the International Conference for the Study of Political Thought (co-founded by J.G.A Pocock).
Past winners of the prize include John Rawls, Martha Nausbaum and Sheldon Wolin."
